Garage Policy

In that garages are common area property, and they are intended for the  use of parking automobiles, residents are to maintain the interior of the garages in a neat and and orderly condition, not allow them to become trashy, in the spirit of good neighborliness.

1. The storage of flammable items in the garage is not permitted.

2. Garages, Driveways, or any other of the common areas of the condominium shall not be used to make major repairs to automobiles, motorcycles, or other vehicles. Major repairs are defined as those entailing the disassembly of major components or differential.  Nor shall the common areas be used for draining radiators, crankcases, transmissions, differentials, hydraulic brake lines and/or cylinders. Nor shall they be used for major body work or painting if such work entails the disassembly and/or assembly of major components such as bumpers, fenders, doors, windshields, and windows, etc.

3. Parking on the driveways will be limited to four spaces only. No parking will be allowed in the middle section of the driveway separating the two garages. Vehicles in violation may be towed at the owner’s expense.

4. Vehicles should be parked in the garages whenever possible. A vehicle should be parked on the street or on the driveway apron only after the garage space is full. Garage doors must be kept closed at all times unless a resident is present.

5. All vehicles in the common areas, which includes driveways, must be operable and have a current registration.

6. Park only in your assigned garage or parking apron, open parking area, or on the street. If you park in anyone else’s assigned space or park so as to prevent another from entering or leaving their assigned space, you will be towed.

7. The speed limit within the complex is 10 mph.

8. Foreign objects, such as balls, should not be bounced off the walls or garages.

Violation of the above will be corrected at the expense of the unit owner causing the violation.

Please see Rules and Regulations for more detail.
